Forbes Australia's Spotlight on Women in Venture Capital

"The thesis for our fund is that talent is equally distributed, but opportunity isn't."

- Ananya Sinha, Artesian (Alternative Investments)'s Female Leaders Fund

"What keeps me up at night is not only have I not made enough change for my daughters [it's] they're going to have to deal with the same sh*t."

- Carol Schwartz AO, Trawalla Group

Representation matters. A huge thanks to writer Jane Lindhe for going deep into the state of venture capital for women in Forbes Australia

We can’t choose our family and in an ideal world our fate shouldn’t be determined by whether we were born into a millionaire family or a family living below the poverty line.

It’s what we do with our time and resources that matters.

And Carol Schwartz is definitely trying to do a lot with her time and resources through Trawalla Group.

Following the feature article on Carol Schwartz, there’s an inspiring article on ‘Capital Control’ and those looking at VC through a gender lens.

****WHAT A SPREAD!!!!****

Huge kudos to these amazing investors for this badass photoshoot with Cameron Grayson. Ananya Sinha, Samar Mcheileh, Chelsea Newell, Rachael Neumann, Sarah Hamilton and Maria Halasz

Been loving the recent Forbes Australia publications. We're only a few releases deep and I've loved the focus on the people making big change in Australia.

The previous publication featured a truly game-changer founder I’ve been pinching myself that I get to work with - Lisa Nguyen is leading Astrid Dispensary & Clinic - Australia's first women-led dispensary and clinic (and fingers crossed next time she gets the cover!)

You're representing so many epic women in Australia and I love that we can see that successful women might wear a suit, or jeans, or a dress, or heels, or sweet kicks. There's no one type of successful, ambitious woman here.

Thanks for the inspo, Forbes Australia. You’re doing good.
