🛠️ I MADE A NO-CODE APP 🛠️

With the no-code app maker Glide, I've created an app: Women of Statue that showcases the statues, monuments and dedications to women around the world. 🗿

While it’s not a complete list of every statue for women, there are definitely many history lessons by searching via the map, profiles or timeline tabs. 🌏

I was inspired by Kate Kendall, Atto and the no-code movement to create something fun with no code tools. 🌈

Usually no code tools are used for businesses purposes, but I wanted to make something fun to get my creative juices flowing. 📚

My fav statue is Pania of the Reef in Napier, Aotearoa. Although the statue is based on a legend, the statue was modeled after a Maori woman who was photographed, then a clay model was made in Italy, which then produced the final bronze statue. 🧜

And since being erected in 1954, the statue has been shot AND stolen – but it still there, smiling serenely and enjoying the ocean views. 😊

That's just one of the ~200 statues but there are many more about inspiring women in history and legend - many great authors - and many tragedies of suffragettes, and political / military persons. 📖
