How to Use LinkedIn: Humble Brags & Popular Posts

Or do you stick to your expertise and offer quality advice?
On LinkedIn, apparently it’s all about offering “knowledge and insights” - and ideally specifically within the area of work that you’re an expert in.
From my own LinkedIn profile, I love sharing knowledge about marketing, startups, the gender gap, and mindset in business.
LinkedIn is part of my consistent marketing activities. I aim to publish someone at least once a week. For years, this has helped to build my audience and awareness in the startup industry.
I aim to share knowledge and resources that are useful for people. And occasionally I share a humble brag - always trying to intro the good news with something other than the classic phrase: “I’m so excited to announce….”

“Have a unique perspective If you want to stand out, it always helps to offer something a little different to everyone else. “Share a side of the story that no one else has. We reward posts that provide opinion, advice or perspective,” LinkedIn said.
