6 Inspiring Podcasts for Women in honour of International Women's Day

Did you know there’s close to a MILLION free podcasts available online? That’s so many hours of FREE information providing priceless value to listeners.

The conversations that these world leaders, local household names and dedicated individuals share through these podcasts are changing lives. All for free and through the convenience our headphones.

I’m a big book lover, but I love podcasts as they are perfect for multitasking. I usually listen to a podcast when cleaning, commuting or when my eyes are too tired to read.

Podcasts are a fun and more ‘personal’ way to learn more about people you find inspiring, interesting or educational. Listening to a podcast feels more personal as you’re listening in on a conversation, usually between two or three people. You can hear their tone, what things they emphasise and you can get a better understanding about their story and the messages they’re conveying that you just can’t get through the written word.

There’s a range of ways you can listen to podcasts - through the iTunes / Apple Podcast app, Spotify, Castbox, Stitcher, Whooshkaa and many others. Often you can listen on line through your web-browser and sometimes podcasts are recorded on video and posted on Youtube. Find a way that works for you and get listening!

In honour of International Women’s Day 2020, below is a list of six podcasts created by women that I’ve regularly found to be inspiring, helpful and educational.

Five podcasts for you #IWD2020 inspiration:
